It’s no secret that I adore Graduate Hotels…for SO many reasons! The cozy beds and the adorable design elements definitely top the list. My most recent visit was to the Tempe, Arizona location. Right on the edge of the campus of Arizona State University, Graduate Tempe has both an on-site restaurant and a pool, which is perfect for relaxing while grabbing a happy hour drink.

Graduate uses buildings that are otherwise going to the wayside, and Graduate Tempe is the perfect example of upcycling a former hotel into something boutique with a touch of fun! Take a peek at my experience below, and if you are ever headed near Tempe, be sure to book a stay at this location.

Graduate Hotels made something their own in utilizing an already established building. The colors are happy and the entryway is inviting. Graduate Hotels is also very clear in the fact that they are open to everyone – EVERY one – that walks through their door. A shuttle is available to and from the airport or to take you to the downtown area in Tempe. So perfect!

I adore vintage things, and Graduate Tempe is filled with fun touches. The lobby is colorful, and the walls are peppered with fun art that is both kitschy and represents the area. Of course, their friendly staff is there to greet you and help direct you in whatever you need while you are there.

Have a graduate? You can send them a graduation card – postage paid – from the lobby of Graduate Tempe. What a fun touch!!

I was SO excited to see my room. I always know that there will be a cohesive design that is quintessential “Graduate Hotels” style, yet there is always an element of surprise. The way that patterns are mixed is flawless, and – of course – the walls are adorned with cute art. The room had a balcony, and you will also see the bathroom below. All perfectly cozy and comfortable.

Yessssss!!! I was SO EXCITED when I found out that Graduate Tempe had a pool. I had been to Graduate Charlottesville and Graduate Berkeley, and neither had a pool (or really the year ’round climate for an outdoor pool), and I spent a LOT of time at this one.
There are lounge chairs, a seating area, foosball table, and hot tub. Plus, the restaurant is right through the double doors below in case you want snacks and a drink.

Oh how fun! I love Graduate Hotels. There are a couple near me and I’ve actually stayed at one too. It’s so cool to see all the different styles of the hotels!

Omg, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vintage vibes of this place.
Graduate Hotels are by-far my favorite hotels of all time. My husband agrees. We love the one in Richmond, and we’re hoping to head up to the one in Charlottesville sometime soon. What I think is the coolest about this location in Tempe is all the great color! It’s so quirky and unique. I definitely want to visit here one day! I’m obsessed!

I love good boutique hotels because they are always so colorful, fun, and unique. I love this place, especially since there is so much color! There are so many unique pieces and patterns in the rooms! Need to check this place out next time I make my way to Arizona.
